At Orion Builders, health and safety is our number one priority. We have a culture of promoting best practice work health and safety practices to reduce the likelihood of any injury or harm to any of our people including consultants, sub-contractors, suppliers and anyone else involved in our construction projects.
Our workplace health and safety framework incorporates our commitment to ensuring that work health and safety is a priority on each project. We do this by ensuring that our management practices meet and exceed compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
Orion Builders complies with the Equal Opportunity Act 2010 and we work at all times to ensure discrimination, sexual harassment and victimisation and their causes are eliminated from our organisation and worksites.
We demonstrate our commitment to quality through clear communication, a ‘no surprises for clients’ philosophy, quick and decisive problem-solving, and a system of inspection, test, and affirmation of quality. We work very hard to understand the needs of our client upfront, which is the best way to ensure that we meet and exceed the client’s expectations.
We manage quality assurance by using a protocol-based, project-specific Quality Management Plan. The plan is the project ‘blueprint’ that we use to monitor the progress and status of work on site. The plan also sets out the control measures we use to verify and ‘close out’ each item or activity as they are completed.
